I bought my Mortgage Master IIx in 1997 during the refinance boom. I've been using this calculator for 18 years and I've changed the battery only once. The only thing I own older than this calculator are photos and my birth certificate. You guys make awesome calculators.

I have used it continuously since then.
It has worked flawlessly in calculating numerous real estate deals in my field of non-profit housing development.

Even stranger, I have never even changed the battery.

The one thing I don't care for is that the default display is for .00 - I prefer with my previous model to have it be .0 with the balance a floating display.

The most versitile loan tool that is user friendly. It really seems to connect to a lo's thought process... pretty amazing. Plus the quick numbers issued to potential client over the phone seems to be very impressive and get's them interested. I just ordered them for my whole branch... great tool!!!!

I love most features of the product. I have purchased a new one every other year for 12 years as I wear out the buttons. Someone decided it would be an awesome idea to switch where the + and _ signs are which is extremely annoying. I also didn't like the fact that the PMI, tax and ins buttons are only "Shift" accessible.
