[+] Overview

Lift, Shift, Level and Align - by Yourself, with One Hand!

The AirShims are great for installing and leveling windows, doors, appliances, cabinets, furniture, countertops and more.

Whether you're a skilled builder installing windows, doors or cabinets or a homeowner trying to level a washing machine, you'll be glad you have these easy-to-use yet powerful tools.

AirShims are powerful enough to support up to 300 pounds and soft so they won't scratch surfaces. AirShims span gaps from 3/32" to 2-1/2" and eliminate the need for shims and wedges.

Just squeeze the easy-to-use hand pump until you get the object you're working on into position. Use them as inflatable pry bars to lift, shift, align, level, plumb, adjust, or just hold materials still.

You can even use them to pry objects apart (like fragile baseboards and trim from a wall) without damaging. For some challenging jobs, like leveling windows, doors or heavy appliances, using more than one AirShim is recommended.

I just wanted to say what a great product your AirShim is.
I'm a door tech in New Mexico and had to make adjustments to a 200lb Mahogany door, and I easily lifted the slab in place using your tool.
Thanks, you folks really saved the day!

Until today, I've only used the air shims to level some doors around the house, but I also got some great off-label use from them doing a little auto body dent repair work. A few days ago, I backed into a parking bollard and put a big dent in the corner of my rear bumper. This morning, I warmed up the area with a heat gun to soften the plastic a little and then wedged an air shim up between the body of the car and the bumper. It took two air shims working in tandem, but I got the dent popped back out from the inside of the body panel without any damage. Excellent product! I'm excited to see there's an XL version as well. I'll be ordering it ASAP.

I used this shortly after purchasing to move a 7-0, 3-0 door with 18 insulated glass lites (quite a heavy door!) and it worked like magic shifting the door from one side of the rough opening to the other.

I used it to level cabinets and to lift heavy furniture and put pads under their feet, with no helpers.

These things are really unique and versatile. I have used them a lot already to hang a bunch of replacement doors, and also to remove some old baseboards without them cracking or splintering. Really work well. They are remarkably strong for something so small. I have used them to level a stove and a washing machine. Pump it up until its level then turn the leveling screws easily, rather than struggling 1/4 of a turn at a time. These are really really handy.

I opened the package, tried it out, saw it worked well, and gave it to my son in law for Christmas because he does a bit of carpentry.
It seems like a really good product.

Used them to set some troublesome cabinets. Works particularly well for a solo installer. They seem well made and will likely hold up well if not abused but I'm always leery of tools comprised largely of plastic or synthetic rubber. Overall, nifty product.

After bringing this tool to my job site to get an idea of what my co-workers thought of it, the general feeling was very positive. They happened to be installing appliances that day and used the Air Sim to to level and set the very large refrigerator without any problem. We were all very impressed. I did receive this product free of charge in order to put it to the test. Thank you C.I.

I am a builder, but first thing I used the airshim for was spreading the calipers on my truck. . Worked like a charm. Because of the dense rubber construction, I'm not too worried about tearing it. It's extremely helpful for setting doors. Besides the obvious benefit of shimming wood frames, I was able to use it to spread the bottom of a steel door frame that someone, won't mention any names (sheetrockers), goofed up. Because CI sent me this airshim for free to test, I wanted to max it out. I used it in place of a felling wedge to dump a tree on my property. Not a huge tree, but I guarantee it was more than 300 pounds of pressure. . Still good, I'm impressed. Well worth the price tag. I will be investing in a few more. Thanks CI

When I first saw these in the woodworking industry recently I thought what a great idea, and why hasn't some one come with that earlier. Other being a 4th generation architectural woodworker I was a Paramedic. We had larger versions of these on fire trucks to extricate people that were pinned under heavy objects like vehicles, timber and the such, in small increments. The physics are quite simple and very powerful. Lock smiths use a similar device to pry open a door to get their tool to disable a lock.

Setting a cabinet, a door or a machine at the precise height or angle is quite simple with this. All you need is a gap more than 3/32" and no more than 2 1/2", and a capacity of less than 300 lbs. You can get it placed under your subject and take it up in small increments to your mark and attach. I like things that operate like a second person or hand and this is a simple one hand operation. Multiple bags can increase the the ease. I can see it for all kinds of uses in the construction industry such as, setting Appliances, Beams, Cabinets, Doors, Equipment, Furniture, HVAC, Plumbing, Joists, Counter tops, Mantels, Bathroom Fixtures, Curtain Walls, Flanges, Windows.

The materials used in the construction of this bag are heavy duty and won't damage your work like a jack, shim or pry bar. It should stand the test of time and use.

I am a 4th Generation professional wood worker. I consult to large plants and have purchased machinery for these plants. I now pick this shim bag to set machinery and cabinets. I have this for use in my own shop at my home where I do some prototype work before reporting to the factory. I am a top Amazon reviewer and am considered an expert in this field. You can see more on me at Act1woodcrafters. I received ONLY a free sample for evaluation and unbiased review - Itís just my true assessment.. I am simply doing this review for you hoping I can pass on some worthwhile information to my fellow woodcrafters.
