I've learned to do most of the calculations with a normal calculator but this calculator enables me to work more quickly without having to perform multiple calculations by hand or having to reference multiple charts.

I Originally owned the Machinist pro Calc 1. Let me tell you, I was traumatized when I accidentally dumped a bottle of acetone on it and destroyed it. Of course, I replaced it with the Machinist Pro Calc 2. I love this model even more!. With features like the BIGGER screen and quicker access to SFM,IPT,IPM functions. This calculator is one of the most important tools in my tool box! I highly recommend that all machinists and engineers be equipped with the Machinist Calc Pro 2!

I had the chance to handle one of these at IMTS 2014 on Tues. It is still my favorite calculator. I am currently using the machinist calc pro and I can't wait to get a pro2.
