The product is good. If future versions can include electrode selection for different materials and quantity of electrode sticks per pipe joint, I think it will be perfect! |

The pipe weights per foot has been the best new addition that I found. I don't use velocity or force much, and I memorized the formulas for the things that I use most. On pipelines most fittings have to be mitered to odd angles to fit the terrain. So I use it to figure the angle of the offset, to layout the fittings, figure their take offs, and pipe lengths end to end for the travel pieces. I tell other people that it works slick. |

The Pipe Trades Pro saves us 5 to 6 hours per week. We are able to cut and fit more pipe and weld more pipe with the time we save by using the Pipe Trades Pro. We use it daily to figure out tricky offsets and different configurations of pipe. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to save money and time instead of standing around scratching your head. |

Saves me time because I don’t need to find the applicable reference guide to find the appropriate information. I know the information I need is available, but finding it is the difficult part. The simple pipe fitting take -off calculations (offsets, cut lengths, etc) I feel any qualified pipe fitter should know to simply be employed. For my position, I'm more concerned with flows, gpm, capacities, etc. I use it to figure GPM, or gallons per foot, or weight of pipe with liquid. I know the formulas to equate such, but they are lengthy...the calculator allows me to find the answers within 30 seconds. I would recommend this product. |
