What educators are saying about Calculated Industries education and training programs |

"As I teach Carpentry Math to the students enrolled in a Carpentry Certificate, your Construction Master Pro has made easy work of math problems for would-be carpenters and myself. Instead of long, complicated math problems, students learn to enter correct data and use correct keys to compute correct material estimates. Thanks!"

"I have been teaching construction technology at Pennsylvania College of Technology for 17 years and I feel that the introduction of the Construction Master calculators has been the most significant advance in the construction industry in the last thirty years. We are saddled with a measurement system that is not conducive to mathematical calculations and the Construction Master calculators solve that problem, making math possible for the average carpenter."
William T. Goddard — Associate Professor, Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pennsylvania |

"I began using the Construction Master calculator several years ago when I was framing houses. I soon learned to value and appreciate the time and money it saved me on the job. As a carpentry instructor I use the Construction Master in class and have seen the difference it makes in the quality of work my students do. My students have won five of the last seven Alabama State Carpentry titles and I believe that training with the Construction Master increased their speed, accuracy and confidence. The special pricing for schools has allowed me to purchase several for my shop and this makes teaching easier. Several of our other programs also use products from Calculated Industries and have learned to love them as much as my students do. Thanks for a great product."

"My Home Construction class builds a single-family residential home each year. The Construction Master Pro calculator and workbooks are invaluable tools. Each year, the class learns how to estimate materials and uses the calculator to create an estimate for various aspects of our home including framing, insulation, drywall, siding, soffit, fascia and roofing. Additionally, the class learns how to construct and calculate stair systems. The Construction Master Pro and Workbook are indispensable for these tasks."
"This year we have been invited to assemble a team to present a project in the Technology Demonstration contest at the SkillsUSA National Conference. The purpose of this contest is to showcase a new event for 2010 to be known as "Sustainability." Our home is both Wisconsin Energy Star and Green Built-Certified and will serve as the team's project. The Construction Master Pro was an integral part of the construction process of the home and as such deserves to be recognized as one of the many tools we use to achieve success in our program."

"I would like to express my appreciation to Calculated Industries and Jeff Spector for providing my carpentry class with the Construction Master Pro calculators. All of my students have responded well with using them. The CD emulator is a very useful tool and allows me to integrate the calculators with my carpentry math on a daily basis. This makes using and teaching the calculators much easier."
"I recently had a student compete in the Maryland SkillsUSA Carpentry contest where he placed first. I strongly believe by supplying him with the Construction Master Pro, it allowed him to finish the project and assisted with him placing first. I strongly recommend all construction classes and tradesman throughout the nation to use your products."

"We have been providing the ElectriCalc Pro for all of our Electrical Technology students for several years now. We consider it, as do the students, to be the best tool in their tool bag. No more having to look up formulas and worrying about compliance with NEC Code. Two thumbs up!"
Jim Ramming — Department Chair, Vatterott College, St. Louis, Missouri |

"The Construction Master Pro is the most useful calculator that I have ever used. I teach Apprentice and Journeyman Carpenters in Western Pennsylvania and Instructors at the Carpenters International Training Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. This calculator gives my students the ability to solve complex problems with the greatest of ease, because it has brougimht all of these problems into layman's terms. I teach a Total Station class at the local level and at the International Training Center in Las Vegas. I find that this calculator not only allows you to solve all the Trig problems and conversions in this class. It enables you to solve these problems at an unbelievable rate compared to the scientific calculator. I recommend this calculator to everyone that I talk to, because it empowers them to do so much more than they could ever imagine."

"I am a professor of Construction Management and I consider Calculated Industries my partner in teaching. I have integrated the use of the Construction Master Pro calculator into my curriculum. The functions are simple for students, but the results make them feel like professionals. I explain how to figure the math the "old school" way, then I show my students the Calculated Industries method. It's fun to see their excited expressions when they see how easy it is."
Mathew Edwards — Professor, Southern Utah University, Cedar City, Utah |
