Selected for the second year in a row, the Blind Mark Drywall Tools enable you to get a perfect location mark for cutting drywall and other construction panels without measuring. They utilize powerful rare-earth magnets to accurately locate electrical outlet boxes behind sheetrock, paneling and other materials. It is ideal for first-time DIYs or the experienced handyperson working on a new build, remodel or repair.
The Blind Mark Tools consist of Target magnets and Locator magnets. You put the Target magnet(s) in an electrical outlet receptacle and then hang the drywall. Then you put the Locator magnet near where you think the receptacle is and the magnets snap precisely into place. Once you mark around the locator, you can cut the drywall for a perfect opening.
"We are excited to have our Blind Mark tool selected by actual users as one of the top products for 2016 and 2017," said Steve Kennedy, President of Calculated Industries. "But, we are just as proud of the AirShim being selected this year because we believe this versatile tool has hundreds of uses that will help make installers jobs easier."
The AirShim Inflatable Pry Bar & Leveling Tool is a versatile device used by professionals and homeowners to adjust items up to 300 pounds with one-hand. The AirShim is commonly used during installation to lift, level, shift and align cabinets, doors, windows, appliances, furniture and more using pneumatic pressure.
The AirShim is certified by SGS to support up to 300 pounds and has an industrial strength cover that is still soft so it won't scratch surrounding surfaces. The AirShim spans gaps from 3/32" to 2 1/2" providing precise adjustment with the air pump while lifting, aligning, leveling and plumbing during installation. Once the item is in place the AirShims will hold it while the installation is complete. Following installation, it quickly deflates through a bleed valve for easy removal.
